Listing Description

SOLARTODO LIMITED supplies Sentinel, a line of off-grid solar security and site-monitoring poles, to customers across the United States from its office at 520 Executive Center Drive in Austin, Texas. Manufacturing takes place at the company’s factory in Gaoyou, Jiangsu, China.

Sentinel was built for places where a security camera is needed but power is not available, or where bringing power in would mean trenching, permits and weeks of delay. Typical sites include construction projects, equipment and storage yards, parking lots, ranch and farm gates, utility compounds, campuses and temporary event areas. Each pole carries its own solar panel and LiFePO4 battery, so it can be installed in a fixed location or relocated as a job site changes.

The flagship model is an 11.98 meter single-piece pole in aluminium alloy or stainless steel. A PTZ camera and an environmental sensor sit at the crown, with a bullet camera mounted at about 4 meters for close detail. The enclosure is rated IP66, the structure is designed for 45 m/s wind, and the design life is 25 years. Customers who need a lighter footprint can choose 6 to 12 meter masts with cylindrical CIGS thin-film or square aluminium-frame solar panels.

For job sites that must track conditions as well as security, Sentinel includes compact 1.5 to 2 meter IoT poles. These measure dust (PM2.5 and PM10), noise, wind, smoke and gas along a site boundary, and can be set up in under ten minutes.

Power is handled by LiFePO4 battery packs from 12.8 to 51.2 volts, rated for 3,500 cycles, with autonomy configured from 3 to 10 days depending on the location and the load. Batteries are thermally validated at 48 degrees Celsius ambient, which suits Texas summers.

Detection runs at the edge. The poles recognise people and vehicles, can play spoken warnings in eight languages to deter intruders before an incident, and apply privacy redaction on the device. Thermal cameras, licence plate recognition, radar and lidar are available as options. Alerts are sent over cellular, and the system can connect to existing security or building platforms using Modbus TCP and MQTT.

Every Sentinel order is engineered to the site: pole height, camera set, sensors and battery size are matched to what the customer needs to see and how long the system must run without sun.

Company size: 50 to 249 employees; annual revenue US$5 to 24.99 million. Learn more at https://sentinel.solartodo.com.
