Lead Ninja Inc.

Lead Ninja Inc. is a sales training company for HVAC, plumbing and electrical contractors. Founded in 2014 by Gene Slade and based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Lead Ninja trains service technicians, comfort advisors, CSRs and sales managers to diagnose the problem, present clear repair and replacement options, and ask for a decision without pressure. Programs include Lead Ninja VT video training, the Lead Ninja Mastermind group coaching program, one-to-one coaching with Gene Slade and on-site training.

Who we work with: Lead Ninja works with residential home service companies, from owner-operators running a few trucks to larger contractors with full sales, service and call-center teams. Training is built for the people who talk to homeowners every day: the technician in the home, the comfort advisor presenting a replacement system, the customer service representative booking the call, and the sales manager coaching the team.

What the training covers: The Lead Ninja approach teaches teams to slow down and understand the homeowner’s situation before talking about solutions. Technicians learn to diagnose the problem clearly and explain what they found in plain language. Comfort advisors learn to lay out clear repair and replacement options so the homeowner can compare them and choose. Every role practises asking for a decision in a respectful way, without high-pressure tactics, so customers feel informed rather than pushed.

How the programs work: Lead Ninja VT is an online video training library that teams can work through at their own pace and revisit as new hires join. The Lead Ninja Mastermind is a group coaching program where contractors and their managers work on sales performance together. Contractors who want more direct help can book one-to-one coaching with Gene Slade, and Lead Ninja also delivers on-site training at the contractor’s own shop.
