Embodywise – Hakomi Therapy Training & Certification

Embodywise is a nonprofit learning community dedicated to professional and personal development through the study and practice of somatic methods. We bring together psychotherapists, coaches, educators, and practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of the body, expand their professional skills, and develop more compassionate, embodied ways of supporting others.

Our trainings and workshops combine established somatic approaches with experiential learning, giving participants opportunities to explore these methods not only through theory but also through direct personal experience. Our programs include professional training in the Hakomi Method, Innate Somatic Intelligence™ for trauma, and somatic coaching, along with other educational offerings designed to support meaningful growth and practical application.

At the heart of Embodywise is the belief that learning becomes more powerful when it is grounded in lived experience. Rather than focusing solely on intellectual understanding, our programs encourage participants to notice what is happening within the body, develop greater awareness of their own patterns and responses, and cultivate the capacity to work with others from a place of presence, curiosity, and compassion.
