Choice City Locksmith

Choice City Locksmith is a mobile locksmith based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Instead of asking you to bring a lock to a shop, we drive to you, whether you are standing outside a locked front door, stuck in a parking lot next to your car, or opening a business in the morning and finding that a key no longer turns. Our phone line is open from 5 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week, so early commuters and late shifts can reach us without waiting for a weekday.

Residential work makes up a large part of what we do. Homeowners and renters call us when they are locked out, when a key has been lost or copied too many times, or when they have just moved in and have no idea who else holds a key to the house. In that last case a rekey is usually the simplest answer: the pins inside the existing lock are changed so the old keys stop working, and you get a fresh set that does. When a lock is worn out, loose, or simply not the style you want, we can replace it instead.

Vehicle lockouts are the other common call. Keys left on the seat, keys locked in the trunk, and keys that went missing somewhere between the store and the parking lot all end with the same phone call. We come to where the car is and get you back inside.

Businesses in Fort Collins call us for the same basic needs on a larger scale: lockouts, rekeying after an employee leaves, and swapping out hardware on doors that see heavy daily use. Keeping the number of working keys under control is one of the easiest ways for a small business to stay secure, and a rekey after staff changes is a quick way to do it.

When you call, tell us where you are, what kind of lock or vehicle is involved, and what happened. That helps us bring the right tools and give you a realistic idea of what the visit will involve before anyone arrives. We would rather explain the options plainly than surprise you at the door.
